Mathematics Trust Improvement group

The Connect Alliance Trust Maths Leads have loved touring each other's schools this year. Our goal was to celebrate each other's unique approaches to teaching Mathematics, and in doing so we have shared our development areas for each school as well as a vision to streamline consistency across our Trust. We decided that the first area of focus was to share how we have each personalised the seven part metacognitive lesson structure and built the five a day for SEND model into this.

With our Trust Maths action plan officially in place for 2026 / 2027, we are excited to focus on a new digital calculations policy and delivering impactful CPD across our Trust!
